Meet Dr. Spencer
Dr. Spencer is a distinguished Family Medicine Physician with over 20 years of clinical experience. She completed her undergraduate studies at UCLA and earned her medical degree from Howard University. Dr. Spencer's residency was completed at UCLA, further solidifying her expertise in the field.
In addition to her medical training, She is a board certified family medicine physician, that specializes in geriatric and medical weight loss. Dr. Spencer holds a Master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology and has completed a two-year fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona under the mentorship of Dr. Andrew Weil. Her passion for holistic healing drives her commitment to exploring and implementing innovative approaches to health beyond traditional Western medicine.
At Life Design Wellness Clinic, Dr. Spencer thrives in an environment that aligns with her belief in the integrative medicine model, which emphasizes the body's inherent capacity for self-healing. Meet Jamie Gelbart
Jamie Gelbart, MA, LMFT, is a therapist who integrates a comprehensive approach to health and wellness in her practice. With a background in elite athletics and multiple advanced degrees—Kinesiology, Clinical Psychology, and Nutritional Psychiatry—Jamie combines her expertise in these areas to help clients achieve their full potential. Her approach focuses on personal strengths, self-care, and motivational goal setting, addressing life/work balance and stress management. Her professional experience includes working with athletes and extensive work with children, adolescents, and adults in various therapeutic settings.
Jamie’s therapy encompasses mindfulness, healthy living, exercise, spirituality, and nutrition, reflecting her holistic view of mental health. She offers in-office, teletherapy, and walk-and-talk sessions, believing that outdoor therapy can enhance emotional and physical well-being. Jamie's diverse expertise includes treating eating disorders, body image issues, and the nutritional aspects of mental health, aiming to support clients in achieving overall wellness.
Meet Caroline Caliri
Hi! I’m Caroline Caliri, originally from Boston MA, but have been living in LA for 3 years and loving it! I’m a certified personal trainer, group fitness coach at Orangetheory, running coach, swim coach, fitness model, marathon runner, and former D1 college swimmer. I have been in the fitness industry professionally for over a decade, but I have been an athlete my entire life. I started competitive swimming from the age of 6 through all 4 years of division 1 athletics in college. Running has also always been a passion of mine, having grown up in a running family. My mom, aunts, cousins and I travel the world running marathons together, and the rest of the non runner family members come along as our cheer squad! I am a huge advocate for strength training, as I know the many benefits when it comes to injury prevention both for running or any sport, and for life in general, especially with age. I consider myself not only a fitness trainer, but a health coach. I am knowledgeable about all things health, be it nutrition, healthy cooking, sleep, recovery, and daily habits. I have been a plant based vegan for 7 years and am a former private chef. I love helping people change their lives, regain their confidence, and be their best selves!
Meet Michelle Nemeth
Michelle Nemeth, a registered dietitian with over 20 years of experience, earned her degree from the University of British Columbia. She has worked in diverse settings including hospitals, rehab centers, eating disorder programs, dialysis units, sports centers, schools, executive health programs, and community health. Michelle specializes in helping clients of all ages with nutritional needs through behavioral modification and personalized goals. She offers individual, group, and family counseling to foster a balanced relationship with food. Her approach is holistic, reflecting her belief in tailored care for each person's unique needs. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and swimming with her Mini Australian Dog, Jackson.
